I began raising American Show Racers in 1997 with a few pairs from Bill Robinson and Les Heisserman. Since then I have purchased birds from R & W Lofts,Kent Wright,Cass Child and others. Like many other newcomers I tried to raise the odd colors before I had a good stock of the main colors. I have recognized my mistake and have built up my blue bars and reds and can now breed some of the odds colors. I raise the ASR's because I enjoy them and show them at a few shows to see how they compare with other breeders birds. My showing is limited due to the fact that we have dairy goats (55 years) that require milking twice a day and it is hard to get away for more then a day. I try to help novice breeders with good birds and usually have a few birds to sell in the fall. Bill Griner 21 Bordentown-Chesterfield Road Chesterfield,N.J. 08515
